Last fall I planted a mix of bluegrass, and fescue from the hogan company. The grass that gets some type of shade is nice and lush and deep green. What is under the direct sun though is thinner and does not seem to be doing as great.

Anyone have any pointers and tips on how to get it all looking great?

I have not put any down, it's been rainy for the past week. Should I still be putting some water on it?

How many inches of rain? (We got nothing in Indy for the last 3 weeks)

Also, what type of fescue in the blend?

We've probably had around an inch or so the past week. I'm guessing that's insufficient amount?

Here is the seed I put down last fall.

Yeah, an inch should be good. Those cultivars look good too. Post a picture, maybe it could be a fungus.

Looks like it could use some fertilizer. Have you done any kind of soil test? Throw er down!!!

I don't see anything out of the ordinary. A few of the picture had a very thin leaf. Those will suffer with the full sun.

I don't know how KBG typically looks right now, but many of the fescue lawns in my area look like yours.
