Brown Tips

I have a midnight Monostand and in the last couple of weeks I've started to get brown tips which really reduce how good the lawn looks. I know the classic cause is dull mower blades. However, I keep my blades sharp, so that's not the cause. Btw, I'm using a Snapper Ninja mulching blade. When I do look at the blades close up it's pretty interesting what I see. Even within extremely close proximity some blades look like they are cut clean and sharp and others look kind of split and torn. Weird. Is the grass just too thick for even sharp 10 horsepower mower blades to cut clean through on every single blade? If it's a fungus, then I'm not sure what fungus it is. I've been using a regular fungicide program this year that's worked out extremely well up till now. I've been alternating between azoxystrobin and mancozeb. So far two applications of each since the end of April beginning of May. I'm not home so I can't send a pic but just wondering if anybody has any input or suggestions. Also I do keep it regularly irrigated. We are having very hot weather in South Jersey this past week it was in the high 80s low '90s and this week coming similar weather. Also, one last thing. When I cut the lawn I usually cut it about an hour and a half before sunset so that the fresh cut blade tips aren't baking in the 90° sun. Any thoughts?
