When I bought my house 5 years ago the were 2 green 100ft garden hoses.
They have since kinked bad enough to have fold marks in places and also one of them has a small split/leak.
I'm fairly sure it is linked to the way my wife uses it and rolls it up. I'm not dumb enough to say anything though
I was thinking about getting one of those kink free expandable hoses as a replacement. After wading through a ton on Amazon, I found what looked like a decent one at a reasonable price with strong brass fittings. That was back in September though and I didn't make a note of which one!
Since then I have read that the expandable hoses don't work with sprinklers because the pipe has to have water in it to get it to its full length.
I'm now considering the Bionic Steel as it is kink free but also quite light.
There are also loads of other metal hose pipes available now too - lots of cheap copies from China to skim through too.
Has anyone bought or used one before? Bionic Steel or any other metal hose.
