My lawn was laid last September by the builder over top of red clay. For the most part it's decent, though def still a work in progress, but there a few spots that are a yellow/lime green color. I'm thinking it could be an iron deficiency or perhaps just crappy soil in those areas? It does appear to be mostly on the same runs of sod. Wanted to see what you guys might think it is?

I see a couple possible issues here. 1: Did you dethatch before spring up? If not there is a lot of thatch in those spots, or so it appears. 2: There very well could be debris under those spots; try and prod around with a screw driver and see if you hit anything. Fix: aerate the affected area and mix up some potting soil with sand 60/40 mix and spread and level over those hot spots. Drop some Milo on that lawn and it will dominate in no time!

*im no expert but this has worked for me! Your lawn looks like mine, 1-2 months ago...
