Bermuda Lawn stained Dark Brown after spraying

Hey fellas,

This past Saturday I mixed and sprayed some Certainty/Celsius/Spoon Juice (YM)/Moisture Max (YM)/PGR as foliar treatments. Then I switched nozzle tips and mixed and sprayed some RGS/Humic 12 as soil treatments.

I wanted to spray in the morning before things got too hot, but it's so humid here that the grass was soaking wet from dew until almost 12:00 pm. So, I ended up spraying around 1:00 pm just because it was the only time I had to do it.

I wanted the foliar treatments to absorb in so I didn't water until the next morning. Long story short, my lawn looks as if the dark brown color of the Spoon Juice/Moisture Max/RGS/Humic 12 has stained my lawn Dark Brown. It doesn't look burnt, just stained.

Have I ruined my lawn? Did I apply too much product at once? Is there anything I should do, or do I just mow and water frequently per usual until the color goes away?
It is extremely hard to kill Bermuda. My wife decided to backwash the pool filter and dump it out on the side lawn. We were giving the pool a heavy dose of chlorine because of the extreme heat we are experiencing. The grass turned brown and let’s just say I was less than unhappy. Just with the morning dew and mowing it came back within 3 weeks like it never happened. You will be fine

Right on! I'm worried about killing the Bermuda. I'm more worried about the recovery time. The in-laws are coming to visit in about 4 weeks, and I really want to impress them, lol.

There is a guy down the street from me who just started his lawn journey about 6 weeks ago. He has no irrigation, but he does reel mow, and his lawn is nice and thick and a rich green color. I've been on my journey since last season, and my lawn has never looked like that. I water, I give the soil nutrients, I've dethatched, I've core aerated, and I've sand leveled, I put in a French drain, and it still has never looked as good as his does now, in the hottest part of the season.
I moved in last year and the property was horrible. I overseeded in early July this year with 350lbs of Bermuda. I don’t have irrigation because I have 5 acres. Just from the morning dew the seed took off. The only thing I am hoping for come next spring is less onions popping up in the lawn. I’ve learned on here by people who are smarter than me with grass that I will still probably have the onions so I guess I’ll live with them until they die off in June. I’m just hoping for less onions because the grass will be thicker and choke some of the bulbs out. As for your company coming in a month, if it stays hot by you I guarantee the grass will be back to normal. It has to stay hot though and not begin it’s dormancy. The Bermuda is indestructible because the roots are so deep and strong. It grows from rhizomes so the good grass just keeps growing and spreading.

Looks great! I wonder if I might be watering too much. I've been doing a cycle soak at 4am, 6am and 8am three days a week. And I do a short cycle in the late afternoon everyday as a cool down.
Bermuda is extremely drought tolerant. I don’t think you are hurting it by watering it but I also don’t think all that water is necessary. If you are getting rain once a week or so I would say that’s enough. I don’t claim to be an expert on anything. I just see what works. My lawn is way too big for irrigation therefore Mother Nature’s dew and the occasional spritz from the sky (which I’ve had none in over a month) does the trick and it’s been over 95 degrees every single day here this summer. My lawn is as thick as a putting green. No outside water. No fertilizer. No nothing but I overseeded in early July. When you have 5 acres of mowable lawn you just let it roll. I think when people start to over analyze and complicate things is when they run into problems. As for the rotary mower, it would take me a month of Sundays to mow my lawn. I just bought a new Scag Turf Tiger II 72” and set it at 2”. My neighbor complains about the Bermuda he has within his Kentucky 31. I told him that he isn’t going to beat the Bermuda and neither is that Kentucky 31 so he may as well join it. He complains but my lawn looks a hell of alot better than his and he tries to overcomplicate everything he does.
