Overall, I'm super pleased with my overseed. My lawn looks great again.

Before and after for comparison:




A couple of my bare spots are still not filled in, however. I totally cropped them out in the above photo 😂. They were areas where I dug out clumping fescue.



Should I add more seed or do they need more time? I overseeded with TTTF, but in the large bare spots i also used PRG seed. This was all done on Aug. 27th. Thanks!

I'd add more seed, make sure you have good seed-to-soil contact, and even sprinkle a little bit of peat moss on top of the seed too. Then water lightly 1-2x per day for a couple weeks, and that should fix it up nicely!

One alternative to peat moss is maybe using a garden weasel cultivator and running it over the seed to blend it up a little bit in the soil. While none of this is *required* to germinate seed, I find it raises the success rate a little.
