I've got Quackgrass infestation in 1/3rd of my newly reno'ed lawn (last fall, complete reno, KBG 80% Chewing fescue 20%).

Is there any way to avoid using Roundup and still killing Quackgrass? This is bad...

Everything I've heard/read says only Roundup will kill it. I have a good bit scattered through my yard as well.

Yea, I was trying to avoid that (especially the "paintbrush" method).

Is it growing fast enough that you could take advantage of its height with a roundup boom on wheels or a wagon or something? There was a post here describing it, but I forgot to bookmark.

the ones inside the lawn doesn't seem to be growing very fast. but the ones on the edges are super tall. Thanks, I'll look around for "boom" or "wagon" method.

The premise was that you'd have a floating wand above turf height, but lower than the quack height, so that it would smear Glyphsate on the taller stuff as you moved by.

Handheld weed wiper They have other units that you can tow behind that have a similar wicking action.

This is interesting. Do I just fill it with RoundUp, and float the rope low enough so that it touches the quack (and maybe some good grass since it's not as precise as paintbrush)?
