at the very least have that statement that they include on other forums where it makes you aware that you're responding to an old thread. Sometimes it may be worthwhile to jump back into an old thread, but I think most times we lose sight of the date.

We do not lock threads because they are old. There are many times when the content remains relevant and should remain open for others to post.

All threads on this site that have not had a post in 180 days will show this at the bottom, where the reply box is located. We encourage users to start a new thread with the notice, but they are welcome to post into the thread if they choose.

We don’t need to keep threads open for additional commentary for nearly 5 years! where does it end? 20 years? 100!?

c’mon bob, let’s be reasonable.
I dont think that was a bot. At least they weren´t using a VPN. Almost all the bots are from the same VPN (Paradise Networks LLC).
