I came across one of these, Arnold Power Rake, while shopping at Home Depot today. Anyone have experience with it?

used something like that back in the mid 80s' when I took on a bermuda lawn. tore the heck out of that lawn (which was mostly weeds). those spikes sticking out were worn down to nothing.

funny thing was i had just a little bermuda there. i tossed on some 46-0-0 (because I had no idea what I was doing) and covered it in wheat straw and watered the crap out of it. two weeks later I had a pretty amazing lawn but was cutting every two days just to keep up .. lol.

if it was me i'd just rent a detacher if that is what you are wanting to do.
