Applying Different Fertilizers on the Same Day

I would go a little further and say 1lb of total N+P+K at any one application.

For example, a balanced fertilizer of 11-11-11 would apply my maximum 1lb of NPK for every 3lbs /1000 of product applied.

Another example, if you put down 2lb/1000 Urea and then right after 2lb/1000 SOP, you might be in trouble with the total actual NPK about 2lb/1000 (1lb N + 1lb K).

Instead, do 1lb/1000 urea followed by 1lb/1000 SOP. Or 2lb urea then wait a week and do the 2lb of SOP. This is the method I use and haven't had any issues.
