I need to do some reseeding this fall and I am starting to look for seed. I came across the Artimuss mix by Heritage. The mix looks really good. As anyone heard of it or used it. I am curious about it. It is expensive so I would like to get some opinions on it before I purchase. Thanks

I have not used it but discovered it by other forum post recommendations. The varieties are some top ones from Mountain View seeds found in other top seed choices. The bonus/cost for Artimuss is the added plant growth stimulator that can help new seed root growth. They sell it as a separate product too so you can check out the claims by searching for Gravity PGS.

It's not clear to me whether their "sod quality" mixes are actually composed of sod certified seed lots, or whether "sod quality" is just the name they gave the mixes, signifying that they're durable/good-looking grasses.

E.g. this blend: Tall Fescue High Performance Sod + PGS 50lb

A call or email might be in order for anyone contemplating purchase of said mixes...never assume!

I over seeded with it last fall! Your welcome to check out my pictures!

It's so good it's trying to be copied..
Mountain View deserves most of the credit!

And you have your own coupon code on their site, I noticed.

Yes, we have common Bermuda around here. I am sure a sodded Bermuda would do well in the summers here. Interestingly enough, Fescues and KBG seem to be the most popular. My ulterior motive is that the HOA landscape contractor can cut once and I can perform the second weekly mowing. And TTTF seems to look good for most of the year.
