Has anyone had luck avoiding a full kill on your desirable cool-season grass by spot spraying glyphosate at this time of year to kill interwoven Triv patches? The good grass is partially green, but not 100% yet.

Purdue suggests dig it out, which I might try. I might also try the glyphosate now that it's easy to see.
There's really no harm in glyphosating a very small spot if you're going to dig it out anyway. It would at least be a good experiment.

I have so many spots right now...a few with green Triv that I missed in the Fall, but a majority that are dead-looking. I sprayed Tenacity on those in late Fall. I've got a bunch of possible ways to address various sized spots, but it will probably include some reseeding because I can't grow enough sod to fill them all! All will either be dug out or glyphosated before reseeding or sodding.
