I know this has already answered over and over but I cant find it and to be honest my ADD is really kicking in.

So heres the deal...
I "had planned" on doing my first level back in mid-ish April but got lazy/life happened. Now here we are June 1. and still haven't leveled. Sill mowing at 3/4' but starting to think i need to raise the HOC?

So I guess the question I have is with would it be okay to level now? I know its gonna be hot *** hell but thats my fault for waiting this long.

Any input would be appreciated

This is the perfect time as the grass is really beginning to agressively grow. It will recover a lot quicker than if you had started in the spring.

What about leveling bermuda that was sodded in February?? It's looking pretty good right now. It has certainly come a long way since then. My fear is that I'll add unnecessary stress to new grass. Plus, San Antonio area is already in the high 90's with no rain in sight for the foreseeable future.

Thoughts?
