Alternative to Landscape Blade

My Zorro Zoysia reacts very poorly to a string trimmer. It just frays and looks awful. I really wanted a landscape blade, but it's not in the budget right now.

I scoured the internet for an alternative and went with this Black & Decker Multi Trimmer for $70 on Amazon.

I was very pleasantly surprised. It has a long handle and cuts a very nice 90 and 45 with no scalping. It's electric so probably a no-go unless you have a small yard.

yes! I have been thinking about a natural edge. You might see from the pictures I'm working on trimming in a natural edge and I'm going to see what I think of it with the bricks removed here in the next few weeks. Is that just a visual preference thing or would there be other reasons to want a natural edge?
