I ordered myself a mulching kit to help me get rid of live oak leaves on my lawn. Now I am trying to find a way to loosen them up so they will go up into the blades instead of sticking to the ground.

I was thinking I might get a pull-behind acreage rake. Would that get the job done? I would rather have something I could mount on the front of the mower, so I could rake, mow, and mulch in one pass, but I haven't found anything like that.

I was thinking the same, something up front would be more efficient.

Do you have room on the front of the cutting deck to attach something? Im guessing it wouldn't take much to lift them enough for a better mulch.

Are you finding the suction on the deck is not enough to "lift" the leaves?
