0.0% vs 0.03% Weed Seed Analysis

Looking to upgrade my seed purchase this Fall from my usual JG BB Ultra which has 1% Weeds. I had nice success with germination last year, but want something with more heat tolerance and self-repair (no irrigation system, so I can only blame myself for the small amount of dead grass on the edges of the driveway from consistent >90 temps).

Purchasing a blend of 4th Millennium TTTF (60%) Raptor III TTTF (30%) Bewitched KBG (5%) Midnight KBG (5%)

Regarding the 4th Millennium, would I TRULY see a benefit of purchasing from SeedSuperStore which has 0.0% weeds vs 0.03% from Preferred-Seed? This would be roughly a $50 up-cost. The difference with the KBG seeds between the two stores are also negligible (0.0% vs 0.01%)

United seed. Cheaper no weeds, great tag. Got mine 3 weeks ago. You do pay for shipping though.

$50 seems worth it for no weed seeds. You can easily pay $50 on herbicides later killing what could have been prevented

I purchased 4th Millennuem from Newsomseed Company. 0% weed blue tag certified for $100 shipping $40 arrived in two days. Good customer service as well. check them online.

Let me do the math 0.01% will equal roughly 150 NOT noxious weed seeds over 1000sqf. ONE Crabgrass plant can produce up to 200 000 seeds! And those can end up in your yard brought by the wind from far... This is your hard earned money, your call.

Went with United Seeds for my source. Got 0.00% for other/weeds. Good deal. Will be ordering from them again.

I'm going with Newsom Seed. Thanks for the recommendation @sethduncan.
$100 per 50lb bag of 4th millennium, and $37 per bag ups shipping. I have about 10lbs of ss1000 left from last year that I'll put down in some bare areas, then overseed the whole yard with the 4th millennium.

I then bought garbage :shock: and such a grbage lawn that came up. I agree. Looking forward to see the results. Seed can't be problem at this point....or can it?
